This online archive is based on the private collection of human zoo collectibles acquired by Clemens Radauer over the past few years, hence the name: “Collection Radauer“. The collection consists of postcards, photographs, publicity material, programs of and articles on human zoos in a time frame from the 1870ies to the 1930ies. The focus of the collection is on human zoos shown in Europe (particularly Germany, France & Belgium) and the USA.
